Music Mondays

Special "after work" concert to celebrate Music Mondays'
20th Season

July 4, 2011 - 5:15 p.m.

William Aide, piano

Church of the Holy Trinity,
Trinity Square, Toronto

A brief history:

The Church of the Holy Trinity in downtown Toronto, in the centre of Trinity Square just behind the Eaton Centre, has always been recognised for its marvellous acoustical space and has been used for events like the performance and recording of CBC's "Music Around Us" radio series, "the Trinity Sessions" by the Cowboy Junkies, and the acclaimed CD "Gonna Sing and Shout" by the Echo Women's Choir.

Music Mondays was started in 1992 as an independent community music series and has become an important venue for evolving musical talent in the downtown community.

Music Mondays offers a glorious spectrum of musicians from Toronto and all around the world with a wide range of cultural traditions and musical genres. We have been privileged to receive funding in past years from sources such as the Toronto Arts Council, Toronto Community Foundation, the Bickle Foundation, as well as private sponsorships.
